Short Term Growth of Red Amaranth (Amaranthus Gangeticus) By Using Urea Fertilizer and Gibberellic Acid

The study was conducted in agricultural research field at Noakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali, Bangladesh during March 2021 to enhance the production of red amaranth (Amaranthus gangeticus cv: RM) by using urea fertilizer with gibberellic acid. experiment laid out a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) comprising four treatments three replications. treatment combinations were T0 (Urea 0 kg ha-1 ppm GA3), T1 200 ha-1), T2 (60 T3 60 respectively. growth yield characters showed significant variation for different maximum plant height (37.1 cm), leaf number (13.83), breadth (4.8 length (8.0 shoot diameter (0.583 fresh weight (9.73 g), dry per (0.775 hectare (15.58 t/ha) measured from (urea + acid) harvest (22 days after sowing). benefit cost ratio (BCR = 3.653) recorded acid). Thus, it is concluded that combined application acid would be optimum short term better amaranth.
